The Atlantic Stampede Rodeo has become an annual event of fun and festivities for rodeo fans and participants. This is the premier East Coast country/western festival and rodeo. Rodeo is and continues to be a unique American sport whose roots lie deeply within America's infancy. It is a celebration of the skills that men and women needed to survive on the plains. It is also a celebration of that special relationship between a horse and its rider, a commemoration of the dependencies between man and animal. These types of rodeo place men and women on equal footing and recognize that success is not an issue of gender, but rather one of discipline and dedication. It likewise makes no distinction regarding race, creed, nationalality or sexual orientation. It is a great sport. |
