Part of the Kansas Historical Society museum has a Merry Go Round with an unusual bottom drive system rather than the more traditional overhead system.

Our rally group had lunch in this restored mansion. Then we had a visit to the Eisenhower home.

Again the rally continued with pot luck dinners. All of which were great.

Next stop was a visit to the Greyhound Hall of Fame where two live greyhounds greeted everyone.

Next was a visit to the Seeley Mansion. Wow what a house. Dr. Seeley sold medicine in the early 1900's. Some of his products were more than 50% alcohol. The house had formal rooms, about 12 guest bedrooms, private stairs for the maids and servants, and a bowling alley in the basement. The rally took a photo by the fish pond outside.

The next morning was a "paint a rock" class. Frank and Tom chose to watch only, but many in the class did well.

Next was a private tour of a Budweiser memorabilia collector. It was amazing the things he had collected.

We finished the rally with an old fashoned weiner roast and a camp fire.

More photos of our new home and statuary. The three car heated garage is a delight in the winer.

Our friend Bev came to visit us and we took her to the top of Lookout Mountain overlooking Golden, Colorado. Some of the photos show hang gliders enjoying the updrafts.

The next day we took Bev to Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs just south of us by 50 miles. This area has beautiful rock formations.

Later that day we took a cog train ride to the top of Pikes Pike. The top is at an elevation of 14015 feet. It is a little bit harder to breathe at this altitude and it was cold, so no one stayed outside very long.

More photos of our home and an early winter show storms which brought about 8-10 inches of snow to our area.

Later in the fall we drove to San Diego to attend the IGRA Convention and here are some photos from Point Loma overlooking the San Diego harbor.

Here we see Frank's webcasting and event projection setup. The last 3 photos show a display prepared by Brian Rogers showing program covers of all of the past IGRA Finals rodeos. This year was the 25th IGRA Finals Rodeo, now called the World Gay Rodeo Finals. You can see complete versions of many past gay rodeo programs on Frank's newest site, GayRodeoHistory.org

En route home we drove north to Los Angeles to visit the Autry Museum where some of IGRAs archives are being preserved. The first several photos show the museum's library and the folks that manage it.

Finally, we close this year's CD with a few beautiful landscape photos through Utah and South Western Colorado as we returned home.
