Merry Christmas Everybody

This year we have decided to cease publication of the physical CD we have included with our Christmas Cards since 1997. The pages are now available here on our website instead. We sent out our first card of this type on a floppy disk, 17 years ago. Wow, Frank has actually been creating web pages now for over 18 years, and he still codes in raw HTML.

Back then, most of our friends had a computer, but very few were on the Internet, and only a handful had high speed Internet. Now just about everybody has both. The physical production of almost 75 CDs each year was quite labor intensive and fairly expensive. Putting the card online is much simpler for us and offers the card to many more people than we could include with a CD mailing.

You can view all our previous years cards on our home server.

Well, it is Christmas again. Gee, we have woven through another 365 days and once again we are amazed at how quickly the days pass by. Wasn't it yesterday than many of us were only 35? Well, maybe closer to 45.

But here we are with finite lives. Therefore, we should try our best to help others; do worthwhile tasks; maintain a positive outlook on life; grumble little; and listen much.

By doing this, you and we will present a positive role model, and live healthier and happier lives. Not a bad goal.

Take time this Christmas season to slow down, and focus on what is really important. In your and your family's lives. Slow down to the point you know it is slow...and then slow down more.

Smile... and know that you too are loved.

This year we have had extensive RV trips back east, as well as in the southwest. Even though we are aging, we both really enjoy our RV trips, and hope to continue them.

We both hope this finds you well. Enjoy your friends and families...in whatever shapes, sizes, and orientations that they may come in. We just left Thanksgiving a month ago, but this too is the time to be ever so thankful. We are thankful that you are our friends.

We wish you well. We wish you a Merry Christmas and the Happiest of New Years.

Tom and Frank

PS: Many of the thumbnails in this year's online Christmas card go to YouTube videos. These will open in new windows. Most of the videos are available in 1080p high definition. When finished, just close the YouTube window to continue with this card
