As I begin this year's card, I'm camped in the small town of Hoisington, Kansas. Tomorrow (December 23) I will move southwest to Dodge City, Kansas where I might or might not stay through Christmas day.
I've now been without Tom for almost two years and I still miss him every day. I spent more than half my life with that man and without him I feel empty.
I've now been an official full-timer for a bit over a year and a half and have been in my new trailer for a bit over a year. I'm afraid I've spent way more time at the trailer manufacturer's plant getting stuff finished and fixed than I had hoped. Finally, everything is fixed except for one closet door which started warping just a few weeks ago.
Today I set up several doctors' appointments for early February so I have a bit over a month to finally just take it easy and travel with no particular goal in mind. I plan on spending the coming weeks in western Texas and New Mexico before heading back to Denver for the appointments.
I've not done much of anything on my personal website but have spent a good amount of time working on my rodeo sites. The real issue is lack of motivation which has been a problem for the last few years. I've got lots of ideas for web pages and videos but trying to get started is the hard part for me.
I have been doing a lot of reading thought the year. Mainly fiction on my Kindle, and some audio books.
I've got nothing really in the way of pictures from this year so I've just created the little gallery below of photos from the various campgrounds I have stayed at. If you have Google Earth installed you can see where I stayed and when by clicking on this link. (Only works on a desktop or notebook computer with Google Earth installed, won't work on smart phones)
I'm currently planning on attending 10 of the 12 rodeos being held in 2020. I only got to 8 rodeos in 2019, so that is an improvement.
I wish everyone a pleasant holiday season and a great 2020.
Just a reminder you can see all my previous Christmas cards on my private site.
