These are flowers at the entrance to The Country Waye, our favorite campground in Luray.
A picture at the Country Waye looking at gorgeous cloud formations above the campground.
One of the many flowers at the Country Waye. This one is from the gladiola family.
Sunset comes to the campground. But with it the impending clouds of a potential night storm.
Dinner under the awning with Bev, Jerry and Frank.
Another flower in the campground. This one is beside the house.
Back to the farm. Actually the farm is not far from the campground. Only 21 miles away. Here is Terry teaching Frank to properly tack a horse. More Cowboy Music
Ah yes, the bridle. Even older Sam occasionally says...Why?
But then.. Sam has been here before.... Say Ahhhhhh.
Ever photogenic Charlie....
Now that Terry knows how Frank rides, he offers a prayer for a safe ride. Just kidding, Terry blinked at the same moment the camera went off.
Git along little Doggie. Or is it Dogie?
All the guys, Charlie, Alazar, Frank, Sam, Trooper, Terry and Runner, are ready for their ride.
Enough photos, lets go riding!
|
Trooper... its been a hot summer day.
Sam and Frank back from the ride. Sam is suggesting maybe an apple would be appropriate.
Alazar... so what do we do next?
Dancer (front) and Sundance her daughter, wish they could go too.
This time Frank does some of the wash down.
The horses are released into the front pasture for a well deserved rest.
Trooper is beat.
The farm's antique tractor, a 1963 Massey Ferguson needs new front tires.
|
Charlie. Now is this a redneck look or what?
The farm's next door neighbor, Mary, brings one of her horses over for a workout.
|
Just before school starts, Frank goes to his brother's classroom to set up a small network of computers for his class to use in taking tests.
|
|
Back at the farm again we see the view across the valley and below some shots of the house, both outside and in.
|
Charlie pets Alazar. Both Charlie and Frank wore hard hats while constructing the new hay barn which can be seen in the next photos. It was a good thing too since we ended up hitting our heads quite a few times.
