We begin our card this year with a Christmas party held at the farm last December. Great party. Just look at those scrumptious shrimp and delicious appetizers. The gang of friends seemed to be enjoying themselves. It was a fun time and a nice visit with great folks. We never cease to be amazed at their interests and activities.

Christmas Day we had the fun of inviting Laurie and Bev to lunch. But then, of course, Piper and Peanut came along. These are terrifically behaved Scotties. Smart, obedient, and as you can see... photogenic. Laurie has trained them well.

A collage of two Christmas parties. We start at Kathy and Mitch's with Kathy turning herself into an ornament. As usual we had a great time at their party. Then another terrific party and New Year's Eve dinner at the Fort Valley Saddlery. We cook gourmand...but here they only cook gourmet. Delicious.

Frank testing out more webcams. His webcam hardware review page is currently the most popular page on the Internet for comparing and installing webcams. See the main Christmas card index for a link. Winter scenes from our home. Deer often are in our yard looking for leaves and grasses. We are very fortunate to live in the forrest. What strange and exciting friends we have that simply roam through.

After the New Years, we visited Tom's sister Pat (third from left). Here we all are at Tom's nephew (Jay) and his wife's (Courtney) home in Massilon, Ohio. Jay and his wife Courtney have done well. They now have a beautiful home, and a wonderfully beautiful and healthy one year old daughter, Miss Emily.

Frank usually visits our friends Scott and Sallie, and their son Dan in Ellsworth, Maine during the winter. These pictures are of Frank's last visit. We see beautiful Maine landscapes, its snow banks, beautiful ocean views...and life in general in the rugged north.

We sometimes visit Virginia Beach during winter when the crowds are missing. Here we are enjoying the ocean views, and getting frozen..but still smiling for the camera.

During a winter break, Frank visited the new Air and Space Museum at Dulles Airport, with his brother Charles, sister in law Rhonda and their son Javan. The museum has an amazing collection of large air and spacecraft that won't fit in the Air and Space museum on the Mall. Some were flown directly to the museum under their own power, before being put on display.

Various pictures of our friend's farm in Fort Valley. Frank is saddling up Runner, a quarter horse. Other pictures are of Chuck getting ready to ride Sun Dance. Then there is Bob, who works on projects all the time. Here he is planting new flower displays. We which Bob could stay with us for several months...as we have lots of "around the house" projects that he could work on.

This a picture of one more computer Frank lugged into our basement. Actually this is now our main server, which holds all our webpages, every digital image we have ever shot, as well as hosting the images from all Frank's webcams, and much more. It now boasts over a terra-bite of data storage. Finally new born kittens at a friend's farm in Maryland.

In the spring, ASGRA held a rodeo school. These are pictures of some of the students and instructors, plus the livestock. Even training can be a hazardous event.....not to mention tiring. Frank is still ASGRA's Secretary and Webmaster.

This year Frank decided to install four Park Lights (Model F2). They are beautiful at night with a gentle soft incandescent glow. They are like braziers without the work.
