During the summer we went camping in Luray. Here is a picture of the new trailer and new truck. On one weekend we went to a farm picnic with friends at Fort Valley. As always great food, and great friends. We moved the gazebo from Frank's hand washing station at the rodeo to the farm....Reason? No one would be able to find the parts or know how to assemble it again next year. Way too complicated. Finally pictures of the new colt, Bandit...a beautiful youngin', and Alizar (the white horse) enjoying a wild run...while feeling good.

In October we journeyed to Calgary, in Albert, Canada. What a nice city. There Frank attended his IGRA Convention while Tom toured the city. The night shots were taken two blocks from our hotel. The mountain scenes were taken on a side trip to Banff....a delightful small town which is an international skiing resort. The rowdy three men pictured were part of the trip to Banff. Nice guys..nice trip.

At the conclusion of the Convention, Frank received an IGRA Presidential Award for his work as the IGRA webmaster.

We stayed an extra day in Canada, so that after Frank's Convention, he too could visit Banff. Here are more pictures of Calgary by day and by night. While in Banff we rode on a gondola to the top of the mountain overlooking the town. A spectacular scene. Pictured below is a world-class resort in Banff, built by the Canadian Pacific Railroad in the late 1890's. A five star resort.

Here we are having dinner at the Calgary Tower Restaurant. Nice view.....but average food. The restaurant revolves once an hour.

About every two years, we need to have dead limbs removed on those trees near our house. Winter winds can result in limbs breaking and falling which could cause damage to either the house, trailer or vehicles. So we have the trees trimmed of dead branches every few years for safety.

Here are more fall pictures of us camping at the Country Waye in Luray. We visited their neighbor, Georgia, and her new donkey, Jax. Jax was leery of us....but then he had just been gelded...so we don't blame him for being leery of humans. We brought the trailer home from Luray, but not home for the season.

We had tried to get reservations at the USMC Quantico campground for Thanksgiving, but they were full. So we camped there the next weekend. What a beautiful campground. Ideallic beside a lake with geese, ducks, and scenery.

We close this year's card with some early December views from our first two snowstorms. We really love our home and expect to live here for many years to come.

We wish you a long, productive and most importantly happy new year.
