One spring day when Frank had to attend an ASGRA board meeting in DC, the weather was so good he spent some time walking around the Capitol playing with his new camera.

Various floral pictures taken throughout the year. We have gotten some excellent cameras and lenses lately. The pictures come out almost "fool-proof:...so in Tom's case, the great pictures are not because of his photographic skills, but because of the camera. Now Frank is another story .... with his Father and Grandfather being professional photographers.

Here are photos of the very first rodeo of the new Florida Rodeo Association. They did a terrific job, held a fantastic rodeo, and made a lot of money for charity. We need to remember these are non-profit rodeos which provide major contributions to charity.

On the trip to Florida we some time to visit friends Curt and Ellie. One could not have asked for better people to be friends with. We then travelled across the rest of the state and visited Frank's sister Sallie and her husband Ray, at their home near Tampa. Wonderful sunset pictures on the beach. The parrot belonged to Sallie and Ray's next-door-neighbor.

The Heartland rodeo in Nebraska. They put on a skilled rodeo and had an amazing time. One of the folks setting up this rodeo and doing a lot of work is Bryn....a friend. She and her friend Tamara, who now records and sells Country CDs, are very active on the rodeo circuit. Both are first-rate people...who would do anything for you, if it was the right thing to do, and was needed. Great people...but we are repeating ourselves. Bryn taught Frank how to swing a lariat. (see the Chicago rodeo further along in our CD) Here you can see Bryn in her Saturday evening barrel run. She recovered and finished the run.

These are various assorted photos from Bryn's and Tamara's farm in Nebraska. How they do all this work, and also have time to attend rodeos is an amazing feat in time-management.
